Throughout my childhood I developed a love for reading, but it wasn't until I read The Sorcerers Stone by J.K. Rowling that my love developed into much more. I remember finishing the book and rushing to the library to check out Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, only to find out that it wasn't available. Instead of waiting patiently, I begged my parents to buy it for me and after a few days of nagging they finally complied. I read every chance I could and eventually I finished books one through four. Thankfully, at the time I only had a few weeks to wait for the fifth to be released and of course I had my own copy in a matter of days. Waiting for the sixth and seventh books was the complete opposite. I had to wait for three years Rowling to get the The Half-Blood Prince to be published and another year and a half for The Deathly Hallows but the wait was worth it. I was able to finish each book in less than twenty four hours a piece, and by the end of The Deathly Hallows I was in tears.
